We called our utility WINGS because it is a club that takes flight and can fly freely. A utility that is trusted by many professionals, with a progressive design based on the role of each loft. Distance, stability, control and ease of use, ONOFF Utility Wings KURO.

CENTER OF GRAVITY DESIGN THAT LETS YOU AIM STRAIGHT AT THE PIN

U3 and U4 have square grooves to ensure more spin.
U5 has standard grooves.

The optimal amount of spin is ensured by increasing the face height
and by placing the center of gravity higher in the head.
You can aim at the pin and stop on even hard greens just like on tour.

OPTIMAL CENTER OF GRAVITY DESIGN ALLOWS YOU EASILY LAUCH THE BALL AND MINIMIZE MISS-HITS

By creating a center of gravity depending on the loft, the internal structure of the head is changed for each club, and the CG is optimized to match the required trajectory, creating an easy to swing utility that increases distance and control with a powerful trajectory.

U3/U4 have a deeper CG design with a thicker backside making it easier to launch the ball in the air.

The U5 has a thick toe and heel and a CG placement that widens the sweet spot and reduces twisting of the head, allowing you to hit more accurate shots even on miss-hits.

Our unique variable thickness face design not only improves spring effect, but also expands the sweet spot. The face works in synergy with the Power Trenches to create more stable ball flight resulting in more overall distance and even powerful shots on miss-hits.

CRESCENT SOLE HELPS THE HEAD SLIP THROUGH ANY LIE

Inspired by the easy release soles of irons past,
we have adopted a sole for KURO that allows
the head through pass cleanly through any lie.

Designed to meet the needs of tour and stronger players who hit down on the ball with their FW. The sole shape allows you to get out of tight lies without getting stuck and is inspired by crescent moon soles of ONOFF/DAIWA irons from the past.

Designed to match the characteristics of the Wings head, the medium kick shaft for KURO irons is used so that you can swing the utility like an iron. Made with DAIWA CARBON TECHNOLOGY and designed to creating better consistency and stability at impact, without having to worry about variations in timing. A focus on accuracy and control, the shaft suppresses vibrations from the face even on miss-hits. Versatile in any lie, the shaft increases the probability of a nice shot. Maximize each golfer’s swing speed by adjusting swing weight to match the player’s swing.
A fairway wood that allows you to swing comfortably for more distance and stability.

ADJUST SWING WEIGHT WITH THE HEAD

By replacing the weight screw (optional weights sold separately) on the head, the swing weight can be adjusted to match each golfer. The standard spec is 6g in the head. By changing the weight by ±2g, the swing weight will change by ±1 point.

AIM WITH YOUR DESIRED TRAJECTORY

Control the trajectory by adjusting the weight screw on the head. Increase distance with a trajectory that matches the need of each golfer.

TRAJECTORY ADJUSTMENT IMAGE

Placing a 3g (-3g from standard) weight to help the head square to the ball for a draw shot.

By placing the 6g weight on the toe side, the head won’t rotate square as quickly and you can aim for a straight trajectory.

Using a 9g (+3 over standard) you can aim for a fade as the head rotates more slowly.

*To customize the balance and trajectory, you will need a torque wrench for the weight screws on the head (sold separately).

A unique and first of its kind cross balance technology allows players to adjust swing weight on the fly to create a club that is easier to swing for everyone, regardless of the heavier head. Just by swapping the weights in the head and grip, you can change the swing weight without altering the club weight. Increased swing speed, increased ease of use, and a more powerful impact create the fastest ball speeds and a whole new level of distance performance. With a weight screw and CBT grip (sold separately), it is possible to customize the performance to best match each golfer.
