Evolution Of Distance Performance

By using a DYNAMIC HEAD (a head with more weight), the club is able to accelerate faster through the swing and create more force at impact. A unique and first of its kind cross balance technology allows players to adjust swing weight on the fly to create a club that is easier to swing for each individual, regardless of the heavier head. Increased swing speed, increased ease of use, and a more powerful impact create the fastest ball speeds and a whole new level of distance performance.

Our unique Cross Balance Technology allows players to not only fine tune the head weight but to also swap the weights between the head and grip with our dedicated wrench. An all-new system that allows swing weight changes on the fly. Customize the swing weight to match your desired feel for an easier swing. In addition to the standard weights, other weights are sold separately to help fine tune the optimal performance for each golfer.

By exchanging the weights between the head and grip end, golfers can find their optimal swing weight, the right balance between the heavier head and overall club feel, allowing them to swing more easily for maximum performance. The standard weights in the head are (2g + 4g + 6g) for a total of 12g. The standard grip weight is 7g.

This table is an example of switching the standard head screws (2g + 4 g+ 6g) with the standard grip screw (7g). Optional weights ranging from 1 to 12g are sold separately.

Adjusting the head weight screws (optional weights are sold separately) allow golfers to change the weight of the head and fine tune the swing weight. The standard screws in the head total 12g and for every 2g changed, the swing weight will change by 1 point.

OTCS Sleeve

Set the optimal loft and lie angle for optimal trajectory and distance

You can tune loft lie and face angle.
This map shows changes from standard setting.

Not compatible with AKA driver.

Weight Screws

Moving weight screws in head can change the swing weight AND the trajectory

Changing the position of the three weights will adjust trajectory. Golfers can fine tune their shot to increase distance.

Trajectory Examples

The back weight adjusts the height of the shot (Mid to High).
The toe and heel weights adjust the direction of the shot (Draw, Straight, Fade).

By re-arranging the standard 3 weights, 6 types of trajectory adjustment are possible. Optional weights are also sold separately.

Optional Weights

You can fine tune the head even further with optional weights

Point

Be sure to use the proper wrench when removing or installing screws in the head and grip. If the proper wrench is not used, the weight may come loose or detached or damaged.

Distance And Forgiveness
kuro Power Trench

Triple Power Trench

The head shape flexes at impact and then is powerfully restored as the ball shoots off the face. More spring effect and more efficient energy transfer mean higher ball speeds and straighter shots. The sweet spot area is increased meaning less distance lost on miss hits and shots that still end up in the fairway. The new triple POWER TRENCH expands the sweet spot so that even toe and heel misses still fly far. Power Trench, unparalleled distance, and forgiveness.

The POWER TRENCHES in both the sole and crown work together at impact to create more consistent flex and more efficient energy transfer. The result is a wider and taller sweet spot which minimizes distance loss from miss-hits.

Face And Body Design For More Distance And Stability

By pushing the spring effect of the face all the way to the limit of the rules Driver KURO achieves the highest ball speeds in KURO history. The face structure not only increases repulsion but widens the sweet area significantly and improves the feel at impact.

Driver Kuro is able to produce maximum ball speeds at impact thanks to a V shaped variable thickness face design.

An internal Power Circle Rib structure contributes to more powerful and consistent flex which results in more distance and forgiveness for Driver Kuro.

Optimal Center Of Gravity For Kuro
Fly far with a powerful trajectory

Our gravity control design creates an optimal center of gravity that produces a straight powerful ball flight. The KURO head is also designed to square to the ball without over rotating too quickly creating better impact and direction as well as better feel.

A SPECIAL AND ORIGINAL SHAFT MADE TO MATCH THE DYNAMIC HEAD
USING OUR DAIWA CARBON TECHNOLOGY FOR OPTIMAL SYNERGY

Our Dynamic head not only creates a more powerful trajectory thanks to its heavier weight but it also increases the overall weight of the club and the overall swing weight. The swing weight can be adjusted through our new Cross Balance Technology and by creating an all new, lighter weight shaft featuring DAIWA CARBON TECHNOLOGY, we are able to increase performance by also reducing the weight. This “Balance” improves the overall club feel and makes it easier to swing resulting in more distance and forgiveness.
