Adjust the length and depth of the center of gravity to customize your trajectory

An 8g slide weight can be moved in 5 different positions to allow players to adjust the CG length and depth resulting in custom trajectories.

By using a DYNAMIC HEAD (a head with more weight), the club can accelerate faster through the swing and create more force at impact. A unique and first of its kind cross balance technology allows players to adjust swing weight on the fly to create a club that is easier to swing for everyone, regardless of the heavier head. Increased swing speed, increased ease of use, and a more powerful impact create the fastest ball speeds and a whole new level of distance performance for ONOFF DRIVER AKA.

Optimize the swing weight to match your swing

Changing the weights in the sole will adjust the swing weight. The standard weights are 2g on the head and 3g on the grip end. Changing head weight by ±2g will change the swing weight by ±1 point. Changing the grip end weight by ±2g will change the swing weight by ±0.5 points.

We’ve increased the sweet spot area and repulsion force at impact by using an inverted POWER TRENCH that curves in the opposite direction of the face. A new triple POWER TRENCH design widens the sweet spot especially on toe side hits, minimizing off center shots. The most distance and forgiveness in ONOFF AKA history.

The new Triple Power Trench creates more consistent face flex and more efficient energy transfer. The result is a wider and taller sweet spot that produces more spring effect, equaling more ball speeds, which in turn minimizes distance loss from miss-hits on the toe and heel.

HIGH REBOUND FACE

Using new high strength light weight titanium and an integrated face and body design, the AKA driver pushes the limits of the rules for spring effect. The face structure not only increases repulsion but widens the sweet area significantly and improves the feel at impact. More forgiveness and more distance.

Carbon crown and optimal center of gravity, high moment of inertia head

ALL OF THE DESIGN ASPECTS OF AKA WORK TOGETHER TO CREATE A HIGH MOI HEAD THAT FLIES STRAIGHTER AND FURTHER.

By using a light weight, high strength carbon crown and adjustable weight screws in the sole, the AKA driver features higher MOI and a deeper and lower center of gravity. The result is an easy high draw that flies straighter and further.

The design of the AKA driver face and body allow us to save weight and reallocate it low and deep in the head for an optimal center of gravity. This creates a larger gravity angle which helps players square powerfully to the ball at impact creating a higher launch and more ball speeds.

A SPECIAL AND ORIGINAL SHAFT MADE WITH DAIWA CARBON TECHNOLOGY TO MATCH THE DYNAMIC HEAD

Our Dynamic head not only creates a more powerful trajectory thanks to its heavier weight but it also increases the overall weight of the club and the overall swing weight. The swing weight can be adjusted through our new Cross Balance Technology and by creating an all new, lighter weight [SMOOTH KICK MP-524D] shaft featuring DAIWA CARBON TECHNOLOGY, we are able to increase performance by also reducing the weight. This “Balance” improves the overall club feel and makes it easier to swing resulting in more distance and forgiveness. The club becomes more consistent and squares to the head without the player having to worry about timing. Swing naturally, more distance.
